WWE & Butt: The Greatest Collaboration Ever

one fine day in the first year of the new millennium, god on high parted the heavens and showered his glorious light just long enough to create the greatest collaboration of all time: Creed and World Wrestling Entertainment. two great tastes that taste great together!
not since Queen met hockey has a band so perfectly represented the voice of a collective of athletes. the yelling, the sweat, the perms...the perfect marriage of two lovers whose union shall ne'er be rent in two. and as they grew, so did their love. WWE produced videos depicting the struggles of many wrestlers as they travelled the countryside, accompanied by the song "My Sacrifice."
and even as Creed disbanded, Stapp's solo project and the reformed members of Alter Bridge continued to hand over butt anthems as the accompaniment to many a wrestling match/hype video/tribute.
perhaps the ultimate union was captured when Alter Bridge performed on WWE Raw with Edge singing along, as a setup for Edge to threaten the hell outta Matt Hardy. (see below)
and low, the lord looked down upon the union he had created, and saw that it was butt.
